One Valhalla Celebrates Groundbreaking Milestone
Recently in Etobicoke, the sky was punctuated with pyrotechnics when Edilcan Development Corporation enlisted the daredevil performers from Circus Orange to help celebrate groundbreaking at One Valhalla Towns & Condos. Demolition of the original Valhalla Inn has begun to make way for construction. At the celebration, Etobicoke Lakeshore Ward 5 Councillor, Peter Milczyn, joined in the festivities along with more than 230 guests to take in the Circus Orange high-flying trapeze act and  to enjoy wonderful refreshments amid the splendor and fun.
One Valhalla Towns & Condos adds a spectacular residential component to this burgeoning area of Etobicoke.
Edilcan’s new community will have three glass-clad towers rising from a one-acre landscaped podium, and three-storey townhomes at the base of the towers. At the centre of it all will be a European-style courtyard with stone walls, raised planters, decorative lighting and a playground.  The Valhalla Express shuttle bus will be available to whisk owners to the subway, Pearson International airport, grocery store, Sherway Gardens and Cloverdale Mall.
Edilcan is preserving and restoring certain elements of the original Inn, which is listed on the City of Toronto Inventory of Heritage Properties. These artifacts will become part of the amenity spaces of the first phase of One Valhalla.
Among the amenity spacs are an indoor pool, splash pool and hot tub area with a walkout to a landscaped sun deck on the podium. Suite owners will also have a Residents’ Club bar and lounge with a walkout to the terrace, plus a movie theatre, fitness facilities, business/study centres complete with Wi-Fi, media/library lounge, children’s activity room, guest suites, the one-acre landscaped terrace rooftop with barbecue areas and an outdoor children’s play area.
The second tower, Thunderbird, is coming soon. Buyers will be able to choose from one-bedroom and one-bedroom + den suites in sizes from 562 to 756 sq. ft.; plus two-bedroom designs from 853 to 954 sq. ft some with large terraces. There will also be three-storey townhomes at the base of the tower. Prices will range from the low $200,000s to the mid $400,000’s. Two Munge Leung-appointed model suites showcase Edilcan’s design panache and the high quality, luxurious finishes available here.
The Presentation Centre is located at 1 Valhalla Inn Road in Etobicoke, west off The East Mall, north of Bloor Street West, south of Burnhamthorpe Road. Register NOW to be among the first to explore Thunderbird – call 416-233-5554 or visit www.onevalhalla.com.
