Urbanation is reporting that Lanterra Developments has recently purchased 600 The East Mall, a commercial strip mall located just off of Highway 427 in Etobicoke.

Etobicoke has been a target for development with land in the downtown Toronto core being taken up at premium prices over the past few years. One Valhalla by Edilcan and One Sherway by Great Gulf Homes and Menkes Developments are prime examples of the density that is currently moving west.

600 The East Mall is currently zoned as commercial and Lanterra will have to submit plans to the City of Toronto to have the zoning changed and to have their tower plans approved. We will have more on this development as it becomes available.
