As is the case in the dog days of July, traffic has slowed significantly compared to what we saw six months ago, but sales have stayed relatively strong throughout the Greater Toronto Area. As reported by the Trimart Research Corporation, the GTA witnessed 1,313 sales in July, which is a 4 percent increase from the same time last year. Brampton, Toronto, and Milton were key cities in this success.
The following is a look at five prominent low-rise sites throughout Ontario:

Leading off this week’s Trimart Hotlist is Mount Pleasant North, a development by Mattamy Homes. Located in Brampton, Mount Pleasant North witnessed 43 sales this past month. Selections at Mount Pleasant North include urban towns, sized from 1,031 to 1,351 square feet, starting from $259,990, and two- and three-storey urban townhomes, ranging in size from 1,359 to 1,976 square feet, which are priced as low as $299,990. There is also a collection of detached homes, on lots ranging from 30′ to 45′, which are sized from 1,337 to 3,411 square feet. Prices for these homes are starting at $544,990.

Second on this week’s Trimart Hotlist is The Humberlands, a new development by Fieldgate homes. The Humberlands features detached homes on 30’ and 36’ lots, priced from $599,990. The Humberlands witnessed 14 sales in its grand opening month.

Third on this week’s Hotlist is Grand Central, a development by Brookfield Homes. Located in Bradford, Grand Central has been in high demand over the past month, boasting 13 sales. Grand Central features detached homes on 26′ to 43′ lots, ranging from 1,146 to 3,174 square feet, with prices starting at $289,990.

Fourth on this week’s Trimart Hotlist is Windfields Farm, a development by Tribute Communities. Located in Oshawa, Windfields Farm features detached homes on 50′ lots, with prices starting at $350,990. Windfields had a successful month, with 10 sales.

Fifth on the Hotlist is Upper Cornell by Aspen Ridge Homes. Upper Cornell features a mix of semi-detached and detached homes. The homes range from 1,602 to 2,453 square feet, and are priced as low as $480,990. Located in Markham, Upper Cornell witnessed eight sales last month.
