Details for Cityzen Group’s condominum at 154 Front St East are starting to emerge.
Cityzen has recently submitted an application to the City of Toronto that spells out the future of the site.
The plan submitted to the city includes plans for two towers sized 24 and 34 stories, sitting on an 8-storey retail and residential spaced podium. Retail will be at ground level and 5 levels of underground parking. In total, the two towers will house 537 residential suites. Cityzen has hired Alliance Architects to design the towers.
At this point nothing has been approved, and the development process is in its beginning stages.
The site was the first sale by Build Toronto, whose mandate is to generate revenue for the City of Toronto by maximizing the value of under-utilized land within city limits.
Build Toronto is also currently looking at proposals from qualified developers for 120 Harbor St. , which is currently an above ground parking lot.
