Empire Communities – in partnership with Stal Inc., and Identity Developments – is moving forward with Oxygen Maisonettes, a new boutique condominium at the corner of George St. and Shuter St.
Oxygen is marketed as a new kind of condominium living, with true open concept floorplans and luxury high end finishes.
The tower will be 14 stories tall and feature 50 suites. Empire has hired Page + Steele/IBI Group to design the tower.
The site is home to the former Walnut Hall, which at the time was one of the last rows of 19th century Georgian townhomes in Toronto.
It will be interesting to see how this new building redefines its surroundings, as the George and Shuter area is another underdeveloped location in Toronto.
We will have more on this new development as it becomes available.
