129 St. Clair Avenue West – the site of Deer Park Church – now has a rendering of the project. As we reported on January 3rd, Whitecastle Investments purchased the site of the site of the former church with the view to developing it into a high rise tower.The current proposal is to see a 32 storey tower with 220 total units, with the church being converted into residential units. Whitecastle has hired Diamond + Schmitt Architects to design the project, and will feature a slim base and a glass exterior.
We will have more information on this potential development as it goes to city council.
