As we reported in January, Lifetime Developments is looking to develop a new 52 storey condominium tower on Grenville Rd., just west of Yonge St.

What is new with this potential development is the involvement of a new partner.  As advertised on their website, Centrecourt Developments is teaming with Lifetime to develop this new tower.  Centrecourt is lead by Andrew Hoffman, formerly COO of Menkes.

Along with this announcement, they have also provided an early look at the building’s podium.

The current plan with the City of Toronto will see a 52 storey, mixed-use residential building, with 438 residential units and five levels of underground parking.  The expectation is that there will be both office and retail components to the podium. The heritage building situated on 21 Grenville Street will be incorporated into the podium.

While there is still a lot of work left to get this proposal approved, the plan is a promising one that looks to add greater density to a growing area.
