Fresh off the success of One Old Mill, Tridel is now officially moving forward with Two Old Mill.

This is all possible in light of a new agreement with the Ontario Municipal Board (O.M.B.)

The site, a former home to an automotive dealership, was at the O.M.B. due to concerns with zoning.

The concerns were based on the building’s design, shade issues and overall ‘footprint.’

On May 5th, Tridel informed the O.M.B. that it had reached an agreement with both the City and the local residents association.

Part of the agreement will see Tridel and the City exchange parcels of land.

The City will take over a plot near Riverview Gardens in exchange for a parcel of land to Tridel on Old Mill Drive at Bloor St. West.

The settlement with the residents’ association includes a new height and front facade for the building.

The new agreement will see a 10-storey residential building, with 211 residential units.
