They’ve opened their doors to James Cooper Mansion, an exciting luxury condominium at the corner of Bloor and Sherbourne in Toronto last weekend. Their open house was very well attended by on-lookers who wanted to take part in the entire thrill of the development.

The mansion dates back to 1882. James Cooper, a wealthy importer, decided to build an eight-bedroom mansion in North Toronto. Built in ‘Second Empire Style’, the building was a staple in the North Toronto area for over a hundred years.

When Tridel acquired the property, it was determined that they would have to move the home, for the plans to work. With that in mind, Tridel took the bold step in moving the heritage home 60 feet to its current resting place. Tridel went to monumental lengths to ensure the preservation of the building. Looking at this glorious house, James Cooper Mansion is not only a residence but also a celebration of the history that this building brings to Sherbourne Street in Toronto.

Soaring 32 storeys high, the James Cooper Mansion is a condominium that is full of luxury features and finishes.
