Sold: 2 Holiday Drive!

Menkes is one busy builder.

From their major land acquisition at 90 Harbour, to their launch of Fabrik, located at 431 Richmond St., they have a lot on their plate!

One would expect them to sit back and allow things to calm before making another big move, but given the current state of the marketplace, it’s always important to strike when the iron is hot. Realnet, the official source of information for BILD, is reporting that Menkes has purchased 2 Holiday Dr.

Holiday Drive is an interesting plot of land in the Greater Toronto Area. The site was home to Holiday Towers, a proposed four tower development by Avari. The project was accepted by locals and sold well, but Avari failed to secure financing for the project, and they were forced to cancel it. Obviously, a developer like Menkes will not encounter such issues.

The 427 corridor in Toronto is quickly becoming a hot spot for developers. Its combination of open land and proximity to main transportation arteries make it very desirable, especially given the price of land in the downtown core. Edilcan at Valhalla, Tridel at West Village, and Lanterra with its future project at The East Mall are all examples of developers capitalizing on the area.

The Original Holiday Towers Plan

Menkes is a builder with more than 50 years of excellence behind them. They focus on presenting innovative projects that will leave a mark on the area. From Lumiere Condominiums on the Bay to One Sherway Condominiums to The Four Seasons Private Residences, Menkes is a company that prides itself on being at the forefront of quality and design.
