Urbanation, via its twitter feed, is reporting that Greenpark Homes has purchased a plot of land in Mississauga that could one day be the site of a residential tower.
Located in the heart of Mississauga, this location has been on developers’ radar for a while. Given its proximity to Square One, one of the top shopping centres in the Greater Toronto Area, this site should be one to watch moving forward. Although nothing has been submitted to the city at this point, one should expect a rather significant development given the floor plate that Greenpark Homes will have to work with.
The Daniels Corporation, Davies Smith Developments and Amacon have been big players in Mississauga in recent years, providing homes for purchasers over the years.
Established in 1967, Greenpark Homes is known for the quality of homes that they deliver. They recognize the importance of quality construction and beautifully appointed finishes. Some of their previous successful developments include Allure Condominiums at Yonge and Davisville, The Upper Village at Main Street Markham, Copper Hills South in Newmarket and Castlemore in Brampton.
The new location of 152-180 Burnhamthorpe Rd West, located at the corner of Kariya Dr. and Burnamthorpe, is currently an empty lot.
What are your thoughts on this purchase? What do you envision Greenpark Homes building on this spot?
