One of our favourite projects here at the Toronto Star’s NewInHomes.com is one we see every day. The Residences of Pier 27 by Cityzen Developments and Fernbrook is a project that grabs your attention from the moment you see it. The award-winning project has some of the most interesting and unique architecture you’ll see in the Greater Toronto Area.

The last time we wrote about Pier 27, the building was barely visible from Queen’s Quay, and we didn’t really have a sense of what it would become, or how quickly it would rise. Since then, we watched the project take shape from our offices at 1 Yonge St., and we have to say, it’s looking good.

Pier 27 is an architectural masterpiece—featuring a splendour of glass and steel, it will surely do our waterfront justice. It is comprised of suites ranging from 507 to 4,400 square feet, with high-end features and finishes. Amenities at Pier 27 will include a health club and spa, a games room and a private theatre.

The partnership between Cityzen and Fernbrook has been extremely successful over the past few years. They have a history of pushing the envelope when designing condominium towers, and do not rest on their laurels. They are the visionaries behind Absolute Condominiums, the renowned award-winning project in Mississauga, as well as Backstage on the Esplanade just up the street from us, and Aria Condominiums in North York.
