Johnny Depp is a pretty good actor, some may even say he’s the best. He’s also ruggedly handsome, he’s a charming dude, he has sweet style, hundreds of millions of dollars, and oh – he’s even good at breaking up with someone.

Depp and Vanessa Paradis were never married, but they have two children together, Lily-Rose (13) and Jack (9), and previously lived together in the south of France and also on Depp’s very own private island in the Bahamas.

Depp and Paradis have both moved back to Los Angeles, but have split up. And, Johnny Depp, just being Johnny Depp, purchased a $4.4 million Hollywood Hills estate for Paradis.

The Mediterranean style mansion spans 5,800 square feet, and features five bedrooms and five bathrooms. Out of most of the celebrity homes that we have posted about, we think this one might have the most taste. It’s elegant and luxurious, but not over-the-top. Man, even the homes Johnny Depp picks out are awesome.

We’re not even going to bother describing the home. Just look at the photos. We wish Johnny Depp would break up with us.

Some were shocked to find out that Depp had purchased a multi-million dollar mansion for Paradis, but realistically, it was the right thing to do! She is the mother of his children, why wouldn’t he want her and his children to live comfortably? Especially when he’s probably raking in enough dough that $4.4 million isn’t a big deal.

It’s pretty crazy that people are shocked when news breaks of a celebrity doing the right thing in a break-up scenario – but that’s a blog post for someone else to write.
