The Station Condominiums by Brandy Lane Homes has been one of the more talked about projects in the City of Toronto. Customers have been excited about its location in the heart of Winston Park because of its proximity to transit and its reputation as an up-and-coming area of Toronto.
One of the intriguing aspects of the development is the architecture. The contemporary tower will be one of the more interesting and unique buildings in the area, and will hopefully spur other equally interesting designs.
With that in mind, the team at The Station recently sat down with Dan Cowling of SMV
Architects, one of Canada’s leading architectural firms, who describes the playfulness of The Station’s modern exterior and amenities. The overall design is contemporary, but the emphasis of strong horizontal and vertical lines makes it very modern. It will surely be desirable to those looking to live in Toronto.
On to the video!
SMV Architects, responsible for the Mountain Equipment Co-op on King West and The Village at Blue Mountain, highlighted The Station’s exterior by punctuating it with balconies and accenting it with panes of coloured glass.
For the ultimate in convenience, there will be 4,000 square feet of retail space at the base of the podium. To add a unique flare to the development, artwork commissioned especially for this condominium will be installed at the entry courtyard and at the main intersection of Wilson and Tippett.
The suites will range from 595-1,800 square feet, and be available in a variety of floor plans, ranging from one- to three-bedroom+dens. Some of the interior features include laminate flooring, European-styled cabinetry, stone countertops, as well as contemporary stainless steel appliances.
Brandy Lane Homes has earned a valuable reputation for creating innovative, design driven projects. They focus on integrity, innovation, and inspiration in their unique buildings and neighbourhoods.
