Construction Update: L Tower

One of the most anticipated developments in the City of Toronto is moving forward at the corner of The Esplanade and Yonge Street.

The L Tower, a joint project by Cityzen, Fernbrook, and Castlepoint is really starting to take shape. Situated adjacent to the Sony Centre, the L Tower will rise 58 storeys and will be comprised of about 600 units.

Designed by internationally renowned architect Daniel Libeskind, the L Tower has received worldwide attention from architecture enthusiasts. It will be a concrete tower with a glass exterior, rising and curving, slicing the sky like the blade of a knife. It will become known for its bold, clean lines and amazing views of downtown Toronto.

Suites, ranging from one to two bedroom plus den floor plans, will feature all the luxury finishes one would expect from a development with this much hype: engineered hardwood flooring, nine to 13-foot smooth-finish ceilings, Munge Leung-designed kitchen cabinetry, and stone kitchen countertops.

Fernbrook Homes, Cityzen Development Group, and Castlepoint Realty Partners have joined forces to bring some of the most unique and innovative projects to the Greater Toronto Area, such as Backstage on the Esplanade (across the street from the L Tower), Absolute Towers in Mississauga, and more recently, Ion Condos. Based on this impressive resume, there is no doubt that this team puts a focus on producing quality, long-lasting buildings.
