Oakville is quickly becoming a haven for new and cool condominiums.
It started with Rain, a project by empire communities that has received rave reviews for its unique high-rise design. Next came OpArt Lofts, a sleek condominium that will push the limits on modernism architecture. Now we have a third condo to add to the list, Watermark Condos, soon to be released.
Watermark, located at 80 Navy St., will be a three-to five-storey boutique condominium that will focus on luxury living on the Oakville Waterfront. One thing that immediately sticks out is the design. Presented by Oakville-based Gren Weis Architects and Associates, Watermark will be a thin, contemporary building that will combine a common steel and glass look, with interesting red and white brickwork.
Another interesting aspect of Watermark is its floor plans. Based on information provided by the City of Oakville’s planning department, Watermark will contain just 13 suites, all ranging between 2,000 and 5,000 square feet. Based on that, it would be wise to expect a high-end development with quality features and finishes.
Although plans seem finalized, we still look forward to seeing what Watermark will present to us once it hits the market.
