Coming Soon: Pinnacle Uptown

Last week, Pinnacle International finally made the official announcement that their new development, Pinnacle Uptown, is set to debut in Mississauga.

Pinnacle Uptown has been in the works for a while. Back in early 2011, we got a quick glimpse at Pinnacle’s plans for Uptown, and were very impressed with what they presented. Now that we have more detailed information, we are extremely excited to see Pinnacle Uptown debut!

Initially, Pinnacle will be releasing two towers in phase one, but they hope to eventually bring over 4,000 new units to the 36-acre site. There will be a strong commercial, office, and retail aspect to the development, as well. The first two towers, dubbed Crystal Condominiums, will be twin towers reaching 28 and 24 storeys. Designed by E.I. Richmond Architects, the towers will bring a contemporary look to the corner of Eglinton and Hurontario. Prices are expected to start in the $200,000s.

Mississauga is quickly becoming a booming area for new condominium construction. Builders like Daniels, Davies Smith Developments, Cityzen Developments, and Pinnacle have taken the lead to bring some much needed depth to the area. In past years, Mississauga was known as a predominantly low-rise area with little to no options for those who prefer condominiums.  This is changing drastically!

Pinnacle is a developer who has a rich history of landmark developments. Their portfolio, stretching from Vancouver to Toronto, includes projects like The Pinnacle Centre, Pinnacle on Adelaide, as well as Pinnacle Grand Park in Mississauga.

So there we have it, the long awaited announcement has been made. What do you think about the plans at Eglinton and Hurontario?

What are your thoughts on the designs by E.I. Richmond?
