Last January, we wrote a blog entry about 30 Roehampton, a block of land that had been purchased by Minto. The site, currently a parking lot, had been deemed surplus by the City of Toronto, and had been put on the open market. That’s when Minto stepped up.
We were aware of this information in early 2011, but what we didn’t know, was the condo’s title. Today, Minto changed that by announcing the birth of ‘Minto 30 Roe’, a 33-storey condominium at Yonge and Eglinton. Minto will be teaming up with architect Rudy Wallman and interior designers II by IV.
Minto is quickly becoming the ‘go to’ builder at Yonge and Eglinton. Years ago, they completed work at Minto Midtown, the first true high-rise condominium tower in Midtown Toronto. Since then, they have also built Minto Skyy at the Eglinton subway station. Other interesting projects in the area include the Berwick by Andrin Ltd., The Madison on Eglinton by Madison Homes, and the Republic by Tridel.
