Last year, we did a quick blog entry about 1245 Dundas St. West, a new project in the Toronto’s Beaconsfield Village. We instantly noticed the great potential in the site. RAW design is now supplying the area with some very innovative architecture, and it’s a good thing too, because for years, the neighbourhood has been in desperate need of some more residential space.
With that in mind, we now have more information, and are proud to announce that Abacus Lofts is set to launch. As we reported last February, Abacus Lofts will be an 8-storey development with just 43 residential units. Information provided by the developer shows that each suite will feature “fine hardwoods, light infused spaces, concrete floors, Scavolini kitchens, and European appliances.” Suites will range from one-bedroom to multi-bedroom layouts, which will feature expansive terraces. There will also be ground floor retail incorporated into the development. The site, where an underused auto shop stands, has been primed for development for years now.
Congrats to the team at Abacus Lofts, we look forward to seeing it rise!
