Weeks ago, we briefly blogged about 101 Erskine, Tridel’s new condominium project in the Yonge and Eglinton area of Toronto. We speculated a little about what the project could look like, as well as some of the specifics, however, we were mostly in the dark regarding the final plans. That all changed, as Tridel officially announced that 101 Erskine will be hitting the market very soon!
So, what information is new? Well, first (and most important), we now have a look at 101 Erskine’s design. The 32-storey glass tower was designed by CS&P Architects. The project will be a respectful, yet modern addition to what is slowly becoming a hotspot for both developers and purchasers alike.
“The Yonge and Eglinton area attracts people that love downtown and are looking for a cosmopolitan lifestyle, but find downtown to be a bit cold and still want more of a community feel,” says Winnie Chan, Regional Sales Manager for Tridel, to the Tridel blog.
“Downtown can be kind of deserted on the weekend, but Yonge and Eglinton is more of a people place with families and people with dogs on the street, the patios filled.”
Suites at 101 Erskine will range from studios to two-bedroom+dens. Some of the amenities will include a rooftop terrace with an infinity pool and an outdoor fireplace, entertainment spaces, private courtyards, an al fresco dining lounge, and fitness facilities.
To stay in the loop on all things 101 Erskine, check out Tridel’s blog, interact with them on Twitter, or simply register on their project page. 101 Erskine will be launching this summer, so you should be on your toes for the next couple months!
